How to Master your Mindset

What’s stopping us from living the life we really want?... Our Mindset!

What makes us have a shitty Mindset in the first place?... the old Bullshit stories that we keep telling ourselves to keep us playing small and feeling stuck in life... 

What's another name for our old Bullshit Stories...Limiting Beliefs

Therefore, until you shift your Limiting Beliefs you will never Master your Mindset

If it only it was that easy.... Hey!

Look I’m not going to promise you that it's easy, but I am going to promise you that it’s worth it!

Mindset Journaling is a beautiful technique that we use to shift through and overcome our limiting beliefs and any blocks that we are holding onto in life.

We ALL hold blocks in our lives around various things.

Money, Love, Career, Success, Relationships and more…

All these Limiting Beliefs keep us in a place of having a fixed mindset where we feel stuck, unsatisfied and unable to achieve the things we wish we could in life.

When we are in a place of fixed mindset we simply believe that life is what it is, and we are stuck with what we have been dealt with. We believe our luck won't change and we just aren't the lucky ones in life.

We play the blame game for our lack of success or failures in life because of our so-called limitations - being the people around us and the circumstances we are stuck in. Or this or that... we always have a reason (or excuse) for why it didn't work or why we can't do the thing.... even though deep down we really wish we had the courage to do the damn thing!!!! 

 Many of us are stuck in this way of thinking without even recognising it. We avoid failure at all costs and unfortunately for a lot of people with this mindset that means avoiding even trying in the first place. Which sees many a dream left on the table.

 When you believe life is hard and out to get you than you often only notice the hard things in life, the ways you are done wrong by, the things that didn’t work out, the people who do bad by you, the ‘unlucky’ state that you often live in… Life reinforces your belief … That life really is hard and you aren’t one of the lucky ones.

But I promise you that by working through your Blocks and Limiting Beliefs you can Master your Mindset and turn that Fixed Mindset into a Mindset of growth, opportunity, success and confidence. 

 A Growth Mindset is when you believe that you can grow and that your skills and abilities can be developed, that you can learn, achieve and create success. When you are in a state of Growth Mindset you are always aiming to reach your fullest potential.

 We learn from failure not our success.

When we are in a place of Growth Mindset you start to embrace failure as an opportunity to learn and to get better, you say yes to challenges as a chance to grow and get out of your comfort zone.

 Your Beliefs and your Mindset affect everything in your life… Your happiness, your success, your goals, your ambitions, your failures, your finances….

 So it’s in your best interest to make your Beliefs good ones wouldn’t you say…

 Ok so How do I actually do this I hear you ask…

Well, you're going to have to get a little uncomfortable in order to be comfortable!!! 

 You will need to get out a pen and paper or a journal and write your answers to these questions…

Make sure you have plenty of uninterrupted ME time and allow yourself to get really deep with these questions…

And don't feel guilty about having some ME time you need it and you deserve it!!!

You might have some emotions come up and that ok let them come up as you do the work, and I promise you will feel better after.

Follow these steps. 

Think of the limiting Belief you feel is holding you back the most…

  • Where did it come from?
  • Is it really yours or have you acquired it from say your friends or family… Is it yours to really believe or just their opinion… also are they living the life that you want to live? If not, then do you really want their thoughts and opinions to be taken on as yours?
  • Is it True?
  • Dispel the belief – When have other people shown that this belief is not true… (try really hard and you will think of someone)
  • What are all the reasons why this belief isn’t true?
  • When have you actually proven this belief wrong?

 Always ask WHY! WHY do I think or believe this...always Question yourself and ALWAYS call yourself out on your own BULLSHIT!

 The only thing holding you back really is you.

Commit to doing the Inner work girl and I promise you will feel sooo much more in control of your life.
